Deduń World

Aṣọ Òkè a Yoruba textile woven in western part of Nigeria.

Handwoven strip by strip on traditional looms, aṣọ okè is one of Africa's most celebrated textiles. Each piece can take days to create, requiring exceptional skill, patience, and attention to detail. Rich in texture, character, and colour, it has
traditionally been worn during life's most significant occasions; weddings, celebrations, and cultural ceremonies.

It is more than a fabric! aṣọ òkè is a symbol of heritage, artistry,
and pride, carrying generations of craftsmanship within every woven thread.

We’ve taken aṣọ okè, and recreated it
into our signature pillbox-style caps.

What we have created is distinctive. Transforming a celebrated cultural textile into a modern lifestyle statement.

The vision came from my love for fashion, and from a fabric that
resonates with me since childhood, worn for birthdays, family gatherings, and countless celebrations. I wanted to build with a textile I know deeply. I chose a material rooted in history, identity, and pride.

Deduń brings aṣọ òkè into everyday life without losing its cultural soul.
